‘Run for the Parks’ 5K Run & Kids Dash

 

Thank you very much for to all our sponsors for the 1^st annual Johnson Creek – Run for the Parks 5K and Kid’s Dash.  Your generous donation will go a long way within the Village of Johnson Creek and its parks and recreation programs. 

We had a total of 65 participants in both the main 5K and Kids Dash.  We had runners from Green Bay, Grafton and Milwaukee along with our local communities of Watertown, Jefferson, Lake Mills, Stoughton, Oconomowoc and Johnson Creek.  Runners from Arizona and Texas participated as well. 

With your sponsorship, including the other Gold, Silver and General sponsors, and all participants we came to a total donation of around $4600.00. 

Next year we hope to at least double the amount of participants by pushing our marketing efforts to more athletic retail stores, running organizations and tagging our registration forms in other local area runs and athletic events.   

Again, thank you for your donation.  We are looking forward to next year’s event.
