Who Runs the Chamber?
The organization is run by a board of directors, elected by the chamber’s members. The board sets the policies
for the chamber. The policies are set through input by all chambers members.
What Does a Chamber Do?
The variety of a chamber’s activities is virtually unlimited depending on community needs and the desire and ability
of the chamber to meet those needs. Its overall mission of community development is determined by its programs.
The Johnson Creek Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the
Johnson Creek area so its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. All necessary means of
promotion shall be provided and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to economic, civic, commercial,
industrial, and educational interests.
